Mobility retailer Lifestyle & Mobility has announced the launch of Nexus Rehab, a new company and brand that will focus on complex rehabilitation for end users at home and in clinics.
Nexus Rehab was created to provide a “modern, engaging and unified approach to each customer’s equipment selection”, commented Darren Macey, Business Development Manager for Lifestyle & Mobility.
Working with case managers, therapists, NHS and private hospitals, charities and private individuals, Nexus Rehab aims to simplify the process and remove the challenges of purchasing and maintaining customers’ complex adaptive equipment.
Nexus Rehab offices and assessment stock storage will be based in the easily accessible Lifestyle & Mobility showroom in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Speaking exclusively to TO STAY Darren said: “Nexus Rehab was born out of a desire to create this connection between our customers and multiple manufacturers of complex rehabilitation equipment, while ensuring that the customer is the focal point. This ensures that the client’s personal rehabilitation goals are met.
“By being able to offer a broad spectrum of industry-leading products, we can approach each client with a holistic assessment, building strong relationships while truly understanding our clients’ needs in their entirety. Our aim is to become a trusted and essential part of our client’s rehabilitation journey, rather than solving a part of the client’s needs.”
With extensive mobility and expertise in specialist equipment within its team, Nexus Rehab aims to provide an ‘industry leading experience’, explains Darren, from the initial point of research, through to the product assessment process, teaching and aftercare.
Darren adds: “Both from the customer’s point of view and from any professional stakeholders involved in customer care, we will never leave a customer with a product after an assessment they don’t fully understand or that doesn’t meet their requirements . the desired results.”
Pete Jones, who joined Lifestyle & Mobility in August 2022 and helped form Nexus Rehab with Simon Greenway, Business Development Manager, has been appointed Complex Rehabilitation Business Director of Nexus Rehab. Darren said: “We would like to formally congratulate him on his new role and for being instrumental in bringing this together with Simon Greenway.”
